These women’s “Cerise” slippers by Minnetonka pair fireside comfort with a design that carries a little more meaning than your average house shoe. The warm suede upper and plush lining create an easy slip-on for slow mornings and cold evenings, while the patterned trim was designed by White Earth Nation Ojibwe artist Hannah Standstrong and features a pinecone representing the strength and beauty of the Ojibwe community. Named Minookamii, meaning “sure-footed” in Ojibwemowin, the design gives this cozy everyday slipper a thoughtful connection to the artist and her culture.
